SIERRA RANCHOS POA BULLETIN

November 13, 2020

The current board is aware of the neglect and poor repair of the roads over the last year or so and we are working with our licensed contractor Dyer Excavation to get much needed repairs done while the weather holds out.  The completion of Dry Valley and Frontier Road is scheduled and will commence soon.  Side roads will be done as soon as possible and weather permitting.

The Sierra Ranchos POA Bulletin will be posted on the SRPOA website as updates arise. This will be for updates that do not need votes or responses. This will serve as a way to communicate with our members to hopefully solve answering the same questions multiple times as well as spreading the word through our valley a little faster. During this time there are many concerns, questions and rumors. We hope that this bulletin will help serve as a response and reliable means of information.

If anyone has a complaint or question they would like to share with the board of the SRPOA please email us at Sierraranchospoa@gmail.com. Anything shared on social media requesting responses by a member of the SRPOA will not be directly responded to by the SRPOA as it is not our official page. We do respond to all inquiries sent to our email, either by email response or phone

 ROADS REPORT

No work on any POA road is authorized by any homeowner.  The association or any board member may not give permission to

any resident or property owner to perform work on ANY POA road.  All work is to be performed by a licensed contractor properly insured and authorized by the SRPOA Board.

Our roads contractor is a  licenseded  contractor and takes direction from the board. Please do not contact him directly for complaints. You can share information with him that he may need to pass on to us. However, it is not a formal complaint or request unless it is given to a board member. The board members need to be aware of the bad areas in order to make the decisions. The roads contractor does not have the authority to make these decisions.

The SRPOA will be working on the roads as weather allows. We appreciate your patience during this difficult winter. We are working as fast as we can to make these roads passable for all of our members. This spring when our roads are dry we will be working on trying to prepare our roads for this kind of situation.

If anyone has something they would like mentioned or answered (and possibly on the next update) please email us at sierraranchospoa@gmail.com. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Your neighbors, The SRPOA

SRPOA SEMI-ANNUAL ASSESSMENT NOTICES

The association board voted to change the association semi-annual assessments back to the original January-July billing periods as outlined in the DCC&Rs.  This allows for the billings to be mailed and the funds to be received within the same fiscal/calendar year that the board operates under and simplifies the bookkeeping and tax filings of the board.  We apologize for any confusion.  You may still make your payments at anytime during the year by mailing to SRPOA  P.O. BOX 11513,  RENO, NV  89510.  Please be sure to indicate the address or lot number the payment is indicated for.

SIERRA RANCHOS POA BULLETIN

FEBRUARY 21, 2017

The SRPOA would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these natural disaster floods.

FAQ’S FROM OUR MEMBERS

Q: What is the update on receiving FEMA funding?

A: We currently do not have any further information as to whether or not we will be receiving assistance. If the county receives FEMA funding, they will be distributing the funds accordingly. Also, it does not necessarily mean the SRPOA would receive a grant but it could also be a low interest loan. The SRPOA will keep the members updated on this as information is shared with us from the County.
